|EAN:||Monchiero Carbone Roero Riserva Printi|
Italian red wine with the scent of cedarwood vanilla and candied matured fruit. The taste starts soft and ends spicy. Delicious with generous and tasty dishes with game or beef.
The vineyards of Francesco Carbone are located in the heart of the Roero region around the village of Canale. The wine region with the sandy and calcareous underground is best known for the excellent white Roero of the arneis grape and the red Roero of the nebbiolo grape. The latter gives a more accessible and rounder wine in this region than the Barolo the famous wine region against the Roero. The Printi Riserva is the example of high quality Roero. Francesco makes a powerful and concentrated red wine from his best nebbiolo vineyards. The grapes are picked late (mid-October) and ripe and after fermentation, a 24-month ripening on oak casks follows. Thanks to the special soil and ripe grapes, the nebbiolo tannins are ripe and soft.
