You should really taste it!
|EAN:||Clos Marguerite Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc|
Dry white wine from New Zealand with a strong citrus flavor. The fresh taste comes into its own with a salad or grilled fish. Also very tasty as an aperitif.
The delicious New Zealand sauvignon dumpling from Clos Marguerite has now won a prominent place in our range. Charles van Hove, the Belgian-French oenologist who graduated from the University of Bordeaux, started a small vineyard with his wife Marguerite ten years ago in the Marlborough wine region on the South Island.
The purity and expressiveness are exemplary and very characteristic for high quality cool-climate sauvignon. Sometimes we taste good Sancerre from a cool harvest year with strong similarities. Unmistakable for New Zealand is the expressive fragrance with notes of asparagus and citrus in the aroma. Wine writer Bob Campbell places Clos Marguerite in the top 10 best NZ sauvignons!
