Tasting notes La Cour des Dames Muscat sec
Pure dry and aromatic white wine from France with a soft and balanced taste. Delicious as an aperitif but also delicious in combination with amuses or asparagus.
A rather unusual wine perhaps because of its expressive scents but for many, in addition to a beautiful aperitif, the wine with asparagus. Incidentally, people think so in the Alsace. But because there is so little dry Muscat d'Alsace, promotional agencies make you believe that a pinot blanc is the best choice!
For the second consecutive time finalist at the Brabants Asparagus Wine competition but also convincingly chosen by the Growers Association Asperges De Brabantse Wal as favorite asparagus. The West-Brabant asparagus has a high quality image and is among the best in the Netherlands.
Piquant detail: from the 2014 harvest La Tour des Dames changed to La Cour des Dames because the famous Château Latour in Bordeaux (!) Objected to the use of the old name.

Good balance both suitable and aperitif as with refined amuses and of course asparagus.
