Tasting note La Cour des Dames Muscat sec
Pure dry and aromatic white wine from France with a soft and balanced taste. Delicious as an aperitif but also delicious in combination with appetizers or asparagus.
A somewhat unusual wine, perhaps because of its expressive scents, but for many, in addition to a beautiful aperitif, the wine with asparagus. By the way, people think that way in Alsace. But because so little dry Muscat d'Alsace is made, promotional agencies make you believe that a pinot blanc is the best choice!
For the 2nd consecutive time finalist at the Brabant Asparagus Wine Competition but also convincingly chosen by the Growers Association Asparagus De Brabantse Wal as favorite asparagus wine. The asparagus in West Brabant has a high quality image and is one of the best in the Netherlands.
Interesting detail: since the 2014 harvest, the name La Tour des Dames has been transferred to La Cour des Dames because the famous Château Latour in Bordeaux (!) Objected to the use of the old name.

Excellent balance both as an aperitif and with refined appetizers and of course asparagus.
