|EAN:||Musita Sicilia Regieterre Catarratto|
Italian white wine with the smell of fresh green apple and citrus. The full taste is very dry, balanced and persistent. Delicious with dishes with, for example, crustaceans and shellfish or fish from the oven.
The vineyards of Musìta - the family business of Giuseppe Ardagna - are located on beautiful slopes near the port city of Marsala in the west of Sicily. The traditional Sicilian grapes are ripened more mature than usual and therefore provide modern juicy and fruity wines. The working method is organic, but as you often see in Italy, the certificate has never been requested due to the bureaucratic burden! The original and indigenous catarratto grape is hand-picked to prevent damage and brought to the basement in small containers of up to 15 kilos. Here is first a soaking with the skin for 24 hours and then a cool fermentation at 15 degrees. This is followed by a 5-month maturation on the yeast cells, which contributes to the complexity and full taste.
