French red wine full and powerful in taste and with a refined aroma of oak. Good to combine with red meat - such as sirloin steak and tournedos - but also delicious outside the meal.

Cap Saint Martin

This red wine from Château Cap Saint Martin may rightly bear the name Cuvée Prestige. It is the very best that winemaker Pierre Ardoin can produce in this wine region and from his own vineyards. Its top wine comes mainly from specially selected Merlot and supplemented with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The yield is limited to only 40 hectoliters per hectare. After fermentation, it is ripened for about 12 months in small oak casks. The better quality compared to the regular Cap Saint Martin manifests itself in more color, more intense and complex scents and a fuller but also softer taste. Production is rather limited with about 1000 boxes.
