The ideal wine with pizza |
Nero d'Avola meets Merlot
Bright red color, strong fruity scent with nuances of fresh red fruit, such as strawberry and raspberry and some dairy. The taste structure is fresh, aromatic and juicy in the aftertaste.
Delicious red Tasàri
The red Tasàri is a blend of the local nero d'avola and the international merlot. Where the former provides spiciness, the latter provides roundness. Fermentation and maturation take place in stainless steel tanks. This keeps the wine nice and fresh and juicy. With its fruity, spicy character, this is the ideal red wine for pizza. It is also delicious with grilled vegetables, white meat and typical Sicilian dishes such as arancini or caponata.
Caruso e Minini Tasàri - Nice quality Sicilian house wines
Good everyday wine as it was made in the past, that is one of the starting points of Caruso e Minini. That is why they have named their series of house wines Tasàri. That name is a contraction of the Sicilian expression 'ta aisari', which means something like 'you have to get up again'.
In other words, the family's intention is to revive the pure, simple, affordable house wines of yesteryear. That has certainly been achieved with the white and red Tasàri on offer here. The grapes come from the area of Trapani, on the most western point of the island.
