Cederberg Blanc de Blancs Brut
Dry sparkling wine with a refined, slightly fruity aroma and nuances of toast. The mousse sets in soft and round. Balanced in taste, with a fresh structure and an aromatic aftertaste.
Sparkling wine from South Africa
The Blanc de Blancs from Cederberg is a magnificent sparkling white wine made in the tradition of champagne, so with a second fermentation and more than four years of aging in the bottle. This creates fine bubbles and complex scent nuances of brioche and fresh baguette. In South Africa, producers have created a separate name for mousseux according to this superior production method, namely Méthode Cap Classique. According to journalist Pieter Nijdam of De Telegraaf (2016), the Blanc de Blancs from Cederberg is even the most beautiful of them all!
David Nieuwoudt
is currently the 5th generation owner of this beautiful winery in the northern part of South Africa. The vineyards are located in the Cederberg nature reserve of the same name, at an altitude of over 1000 meters. The cool and very remote location results in a virus free vineyard.
