Bright red wine with a beautiful aroma of cherries and slightly roasted notes. The taste structure is refined and full, with mild tannins in the finish.

Description

Burgundy of the Mediterranean, that's how owner Marco de Grazia characterizes his refined, mineral Sicilian wines, originating from slope vineyards on the northern flank of the Etna volcano. The height provides cooling and refinement in the wines. The organic plantings and the ambition to make top quality force Marco to low yields so that the native grapes have a beautiful expression. The grapes in the small Feudo di Mezzo vineyard - with its black, volcanic pumice stone - are the first ripe of all Terre Nere plots. They provide a wine that, compared to the other crus, presents itself optimally with a round taste and soft tannin. This fine wine also ages for sixteen to eighteen months in oak casks of various sizes and barrel suppliers.

Drink with
Beautiful accompaniment to dishes with chicken, pork or game, but also, for example, lasagna.

Shelf life
