Côtes de Thongue Rose at its best

The Côtes de Thongue, roughly between Béziers and Montpellier in the Languedoc, is one such wine region that may not have the name yet, but it certainly has the potential. The area has a warm Mediterranean climate, tempered by the cooling influence of the Mediterranean Sea. These conditions ensure ripe grapes with fresh acidity, which in turn (if in the hands of a good winemaker) yield beautiful, balanced quality wines.
