Françoise and Nicolas Melin make a beautiful quality Pouilly-Fuissé on their small wine estate from grapes from more than 60 years old chardonnay vines. They follow the agriculture raisonnée, a form of agriculture that aims to work as naturally as possible.

The Velours d'Automne is a special wine. The grapes are harvested later than usual: this happens at the beginning of October, when part of the harvest contains noble rot (pourriture noble). The other part is brought in in a very ripe condition. After a long, spontaneous fermentation and aging in barrels, the Velours d'Automne with its full yellow color and beautiful aging aromas is a white Burgundy with a unique character.
