Fragrant dry white wine from Australia with the fresh scent of citrus ripe fruit and wood nuances. Excellent to drink on its own, but also suitable with many fish and starters.
Trentham Estate & the Murphy's
The River Retreat wines come from Trentham Estate. The Murphy family owns Trentham Estate with 45 hectares of vineyards in Murray Darling located in southeastern Australia. The oldest vineyard is over 60 years old. In addition, the family buys grapes from befriended winegrowers in the area.
The white Chardonnay and red Cabernet-Shiraz are oak matured and are characterized by a remarkable suppleness. No heavy heavy wines but deliciously digestible and full of flavour.
