Description
After the intensive soaking period, the fermentation process starts and the alcohol percentage can rise. When about 8% is reached, the process is stopped by adding wine alcohol and the juice can mature on wood for a 10-year period. This soft brown colored port with light orange sparkle has a developed yet fresh nose with fresh nuts, ripe fruit and figs.
