A pure, full, juicy red wine

What a pleasure to drink these flawless and spicy Corbières. From his eight hectare vineyard in the village of Garrigues - a very appropriate name! - Pierre Bories composes this beautiful wine.

It is made from the elegant carignan (40%), supplemented with equal parts fruity grenache and berry syrah. Due to the naturally low yield in Pierres vineyards (35-40 hl/ha), the grapes have a lot of concentration.

They are of course picked by hand and then fermented in the cellar, with a short skin soaking. The vinification focuses on finesse and the avoidance of hard and rough tannins. Pierre therefore does not use oak maturation, in order to retain maximum fruit and softness.

The result is a beautiful Corbières, with the typical spiciness that the French call 'garrigue'. But it is also polished and mild, thanks to excellent quality grapes and the expert winemaking method.

Languedoc expression at its best
Connoisseurs have known it for some time. The undiscovered top producers in the Languedoc deliver fantastic wines for a very acceptable price. Like this delicious and distinctive wine from Corbières. What makes this wine so good? The combination of limited production, a great deal of attention to the vineyard and of course the expertise of the winemaker. The difference with mass producers could not be greater.
