The name Rosenweg has changed to Rosenstock. The wine itself has remained the same.
White wine from Markus Huber
Markus Huber is one of the benchmarks of the Austrian Traisental wine region. His reputation is largely based on his elegant, authentic, and terroir-driven white wines from the region's characteristic limestone soils.
Markus makes this excellent "entry-level" Grüner Veltliner Rosenweg for everyday use. For this cuvée, Markus sources optimally ripe grapes from friendly farmers on various plots in Traisental. The grapes come from vines ranging in age from five to eighty years old.

Huber also known from Obere Steigen
After harvest, Markus crushes the grapes and macerates them on the skins for six hours. He then presses the grapes and ferments the juice in stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages for another three months on the settled yeasts. This adds some extra volume and complexity.
The result is a wonderfully light, classic Grüner, with the unmistakable, crystal-clear Huber signature. Enjoy this fine white wine as an aperitif, or pair it with (smoked) salmon or trout. It also pairs beautifully with slightly spicy Asian dishes!
Drinking at
Ideal to drink on its own, or in combination with light salads, fish dishes and spicy tapas.
Tasting note
A beautifully typified Grüner Veltliner with abundant aromatic expression of pear, citrus, and white flowers. Invigorating, juicy, and delightfully crisp and dry with good length.

| What do we think?: | Jerry: finally a really tasty Gruner Veltliner under ten euros. Of course the characteristic crispy, fresh acidity, but nice and ripe and full. Very tasty! |
