Cà del Magro, the Tre Bicchieri champion from Monte del Frà, is one of our most successful Italian white wines with phenomenal value. We asked Marica Bonomo and her talented young winemaker, Elia Bartolomai, to create a more luxurious, oak-aged version using the same grape blend. They selected top-quality grapes in Bagolina for this purpose.

This vineyard is the highest in the village of Custoza and is located just off the famous Cà del Magro. Approximately 70% of the harvest was aged for nine months in used French oak barrels, while the remainder remained in the concrete tank on the lees. The final blend is fantastic! The beautiful, full flavors of the Garganega, Chardonnay, and Cortese are beautifully rounded out with a touch of luxurious oak. The Moregno is very refined in flavor and has length and power.

This makes this new flagship wine from Monte del Frà perfectly suited to delicate dishes. It also makes an impressive elegant aperitif.
