Description
The Old Brick Factory Syrah is an impressive, full-bodied, and silky red Syrah, aged for nine months in new French oak barrels. This exceptional red wine is made from grapes sourced from 30-year-old Syrah vines in a plot at an altitude of approximately 800 meters. This vineyard was once home to a brick factory; the remains are still clearly visible.
The grapes aren't harvested until mid-October, exceptionally late for this southern Spanish region. This gives them plenty of time to reach peak ripeness, resulting in creamy tannins. The characteristic, spicy aroma of ripe Syrah grapes, combined with the barrel aging, is very seductive. Its full, smooth flavor makes this Syrah perfect for enjoying outside of the meal. It also pairs beautifully with grilled and seasoned meats from the barbecue or a cheese board and baguette.
