Description
Castelo de Medina has an excellent reputation for intensely fragrant, flavorful, and flawless white wines from the Spanish region of Rueda. Winemaker Sara Roman particularly excels in Verdejos, and you can taste that across the board.
This El Fisgón is a Verdejo with a touch of Sauvignon Blanc made from grapes from the estate's younger plantings. After harvest, the grapes ferment at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. This allows the wine to retain its fresh, distinctly fruity character.
That's what makes this Verdejo an ideal pleasure wine: accessible, juicy, fruity, and made to drink young. And reasonably priced, too! In short, an ideal wine for drinks and parties, or as a fine house wine.
