Description
A juicy, exciting Sauvignon Blanc from a warm region like the Languedoc? Leave that to our Bergerac producer and Sauvignon Blanc expert, Hugh Ryman!
Together with local winegrowers, he selected the coolest vineyards along the Orbiel River, near Carcassonne. Here, he can harvest slowly ripening and therefore aromatic grapes.
To preserve that beautiful fruit aroma, Ryman processes the grapes immediately after harvest. He presses the grapes and ferments the juice at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. For a little extra body, he briefly ages the wine on the yeasts.
And that produces a beautiful, pure, fresh Sauvignon blanc, just like we know it from Ryman, but with the ripeness of the French South. Energetic and aromatic, with notes of gooseberry and tropical fruit. A true house wine favorite!
