Description
The Californian family-owned Talley Vineyards has been in business since 1986. It is located in the Arroyo Grande Valley on the Central Coast. Their vineyards benefit from the cool breezes of the Pacific Ocean. Talley is known for its stylish, refined, and balanced Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs.

When it comes to Pinot Noir, the Talleys are true pioneers: in 1982, they were the first to plant Pinot Noir in the Arroyo Grande Valley. Their main inspiration comes from the wines of Burgundy. The estate, in its own words, produces "a Burgundian style with a Californian influence."

The Estate Pinot Noir is Talley's signature red. Thanks to the relatively cool climate of the San Luis Obispo Coast, the grapes ripen slowly and gradually. This results in aromatic wines with crisp acidity. After fermentation, the wine is aged for thirteen months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new.

This Estate Pinot Grigio is refined and vibrant, with ripe fruit and a beautiful, subtle oak influence. It offers tempting notes of raspberry, cherry, pepper, and cedar, and has a lingering finish. Enjoy this beautiful wine on its own or pair it with flavorful vegetable or poultry dishes.

Tasting note
A light ruby-red wine with layered aromas of cherry, raspberry, orange peel, and subtle oak. The palate is mild and wonderfully juicy with ripe red fruit, balanced freshness, and fine, silky tannins. A complex finish with notes of pepper and cinnamon.
