Ideal terrace and aperitif wine |
Description
The delicious and affordable Le Rosé de S has been one of our best-selling wines for years. The Sumeire family has now expanded their range with a very successful white version! It's no surprise that this one is also very tasty: the Sumeires have eight generations of experience in Provence and are considered one of the leading producers there.
Le Blanc de S is made from the Mediterranean Rolle grape, also known as Vermentino. The grapes are sourced entirely from the estate's own vineyards. Once harvested, modern vinification follows, with cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks and a short maturation on the lees.
This method produces a delicious and accessible white wine, with a mild, juicy, and slightly spicy flavor. Le Blanc de S is perfect as an aperitif or on the patio. It's also irresistible with light fish and vegetable dishes. A real winner!
Drinking at
A fragrant, dry white wine (on the patio) perfect for solo or with drinks. A lovely pairing with baked salmon, ratatouille, (fish) quiche, or young, soft cheeses.
Tasting note
A seductive, ripe, fruity white wine with aromas of blossom, pear, peach, and melon. The palate is accessible and intensely juicy with mild acidity. A smooth finish with notes of anise and brioche.
Shelf life
At its best up to about 3 years after harvest.
