Description
Cederberg's Blanc de Blancs is a magnificent sparkling white wine made in the Champagne tradition, with a second fermentation and over four years of bottle aging. This creates fine bubbles and complex aromas of brioche and fresh baguette. In South Africa, producers have created a separate designation for sparkling wine made with this superior production method: Méthode Cap Classique.
David Nieuwoudt is currently the fifth-generation owner of this beautiful winery in the northern part of South Africa. The vineyards are located in the Cederberg Nature Reserve, at an altitude of over 1,000 meters. The cool and very remote location results in a virus-free vineyard.
