Tasting note Sepp Moser Gruner Veltiner

Fresh dry Austrian white wine. With its full dry taste, this top wine combines excellently with fish dishes, light pasta with mushrooms or asparagus.

Description

Is the base wine Sepp composed of different vineyards, the grüner veltliner described here comes from a single vineyard called Gebling. This vineyard is planted on terraces on a fairly steep southern slope. Due to the poor soil, good ventilation and the perfect sun situation, a top quality white wine is made here.

The grapes ripen slowly and for a long time and in the case of the 2008 vintage were only harvested on October 21! Niki Moser is also a purist in vinification and ferments his wine exclusively with the "wild" yeasts naturally occurring in the vineyard. The result is a wine with a lot of terroir expression and characteristic of a high quality grüner veltliner. Delicious!
