Description

Florent Viale is one of the leading producers in the northern Rhône. In addition to the famous and powerful Hermitage, he also produces an accessible and refined red Crozes-Hermitage.

Viale emphasizes the expression of the ripe fruit of the Syrah grape, so his wines can also be enjoyed young. A breath of fresh air in a selective tasting with other producers who strive to make their Crozes-Hermitage as a concentrated Hermitage.

However, the difference in terroir is too great, and these attempts usually result in overly tannic wine with a drying flavor structure. A beautiful red wine. Viale operates organically but is not (yet) certified.
