Description

In addition to its excellent base wines, Collefrisio produces a powerful dry white wine from the unique Falanghina grape, native to Naples. With its pure, full, and juicy, dry flavor, this Falanghina is a serious competitor to the luxurious Campanian wines made from the same grape.

Winemaker Amedeo De Luca uses the bâtonnage technique, which stirs the yeast cells in the tank during aging, keeping them in contact with the wine. This creates a round, smooth finish, and even hints of light oak. A highly successful wine, it pairs beautifully with summer dishes like grilled fish or chicken, and salads.
