Description
Over the past decade, various Sancerre domaines have implemented radical changes in, for example, vineyard management and yield management. Thierry Merlin is such a winemaker where quality and terroir expression prevail.
While tasting you understand that such a refined and mineral Sancerre is a unique "cool climate" wine and far beyond the competition from elsewhere. His 14 hectares of sauvignon vineyards are located in the village of Bué, which, together with Chavignol, is counted among the best terroirs in Sancerre.
