Description
What a magnificent wine from our Greek estate, Gaia Wines! The Gaia S is inspired by the success of the high-quality Super Tuscans from Italy, where a native grape is complemented by an international variety.
In this case, Gaia adds about 30% Syrah to the local agiorgitiko. An unusual blend that produces a particularly fine wine.
The grapes are hand-picked in Gaia's higher-elevation vineyards in Nemea. After fermentation, the wine is aged for approximately twelve months in small French oak barrels. The wine is then bottled unfiltered.
The Gaia S boasts plenty of concentration, ripe fruit, and a refined, spicy flavor. Pair it with roasted lamb or beef, for example. After decanting, the wine truly shines. This Super Nemea is highly recommended!
