Ideal aperitif
Also delicious with oysters or raw fish

Tasting note Caruso chardonnay

Delicious smooth dry white wine with ripe yellow fruit and fresh citrus notes in the aroma. The taste is juicy and round and ends aromatic with a fresh aftertaste.

Description

The best of both worlds, that is this delicious Sicilian white wine. Traditional and modern, local and international. At the Caruso e Minini family domain, they set themselves the goal of making modern Sicilian wines, with an eye for the island's ancient wine culture.

This Bianco is also a very successful marriage between the local grecanico grape and the international chardonnay. Where the grecanico provides freshness in the wine, the chardonnay gives ripe fruit and round door.

The grapes are harvested by hand. Once in the basement, they are cooled and pressed. The fermentation and maturation takes place in steel tanks. This ensures that the wine stays nice and fresh and fruity.

The result is a very versatile wine: it is ideal for just drinking, with a drink or as an aperitif. But it also works great at the table, whether it's with oysters, raw fish, a salad or chicken from the oven. An ideal white house wine!
