Musar Jeune
Chateau Musar is a unique red wine from Lebanon, made from traditional grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, and Cinsault. The wine is aged for a full 12 months in oak barrels. After this aging, the bottles remain in the cellar for at least another three years, ensuring the Musar is ready to drink upon purchase. Some wine journalists go so far as to call Musar one of the world's great wines. This is largely due to its charismatic owner, Serge Hochar, who passed away in 2015. For his considerable contributions, he was named Winemaker of the Year by the English magazine Decanter Magazine in 1984.
