A smooth red wine from La Mancha, Spain. Full-bodied and smooth, this oak-aged wine is delicious served on its own or with grilled beef or pork.
Description
Unlike most wineries in La Mancha, Spain, Pago de la Jaraba is a small producer that produces wine exclusively from its own vineyards. As we often say, small artisanal wineries generally produce higher quality than large, industrial-scale establishments geared towards high production.
This high quality certainly applies to this exquisite and smooth-tasting reserva. Made from hand-picked Tempranillo, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and aged for over a year in small French and American oak barrels.
To preserve maximum flavor, the winemaker doesn't filter the wine. This may, however, result in some lees forming; this is a natural process. Highly recommended!
