French deep red wine from Bordeaux with an aroma of ripe fruit oak and spices. The taste is full and powerful. Young, this wine is delicious with seasoned stew matured with beef and veal.
Gaillard's Organic Cru
Château Gaillard with its vineyard of approximately 20 hectares has been in the same family since 1787. The vineyard has approximately 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes. At château Gaillard, work is done with respect for nature. This is apparent from the fact that no chemical agents are used in the vineyard. After fermentation, it is matured in partly new oak barrels. The winemaker is Monsieur Nouvel, who is assisted by his daughter who has graduated (in oenology). She is responsible for the investments made in recent years in modern winemaking equipment.
