|EAN:||Domaine Bellegarde Jurançon Moelleux|
Strongly fragrant refined mildly sweet white wine from France. Very suitable as an aperitif with a toast duck or goose liver but also delicious with cheeses.
Pascal Labasse is in the Juran̤on (Pau area) lord and master over the native grape varieties petit and gros manseng. He sells good press references and medals for both dry and (semi) sweet varieties. The sweet Bellegarde (in French: moelleux) is made from both varieties. The majority manseng without wood aging contributes to the typical fresh flavor structure of Juran̤on. The petit manseng ripens for months on small oak casks and gives the wine the sweet taste. The result after the assembly is a beautiful white Juran̤on less sweet than classic dessert wines but with many gastronomic applications.
