Description

It's not often that a Chardonnay from outside Burgundy resembles Burgundy so closely. However, this beautiful white wine from the Limoux region is. In the high, cool foothills of the Pyrenees, the grapes ripen more slowly than in the warm valley. This allows the grapes to retain an invigorating freshness and develop more and finer aromas.

After fermentation, this Chardonnay matures for nearly twelve months in small oak barrels. It's no wonder a previous vintage won the "Best European Chardonnay under €12.50" competition organized by wine magazine Perswijn.
