Description
Southern Italy, and the Apulia region in particular, is currently receiving a great deal of attention for the production of original and affordable wines. Investments are plentiful, and increasingly, you'll find Apulian wines receiving highly positive reviews in the leading wine guides. American wine journalist Robert Parker even calls Apulia the most exciting wine region of the moment. The red Domiziano from Salento is a prime example of the excellent price-quality ratio currently available. Made exclusively from the Negroamaro grape, it boasts a typically Southern Italian aroma and flavor. Sun-drenched, soft, spicy, and sultry! It's a two-time winner of the Proefschrift Wijnconcours and a regional and national winner of the Huiswijn competition.
