Intense and pure aroma of Muscat grapes with hints of lychee. The flavor is full-bodied and sweet, yet also has refreshing notes. The finish is long and pleasant. Not a good match for dark chocolate.

Description

This Moscato d'Asti is a lightly sparkling white wine made from the Muscat grape. The grapes are harvested in their most perfect condition to infuse the wine with as many pure grape aromas as possible. During fermentation, the wine is cooled significantly, halting fermentation and preventing the remaining grape sugar from converting into alcohol. This allows the wine to retain the natural sweetness of the Muscat grape, as well as the carbon dioxide that also forms during fermentation. Moscato d'Asti belongs to the select group of DOCG wines. This is the highest, controlled designation of origin in Italy, which applies to the finest white and red wines.
