Expressive white wine

David Nieuwoudt is currently the fifth-generation owner of the beautiful Cederberg winery in the northern part of South Africa. Besides Cederberg, David also operates in the southern, cool Elim region, situated on the ocean. This region is considered a rapidly emerging area for so-called cool-climate wines. It's no wonder that the Sauvignon grape is so well represented here.

The beautifully expressive "Ghost Corner" is modernized in the tradition of other New World wines. After harvest, an eight-hour maceration with skin contact follows. Immediately afterward, only the best, free-flowing juice is fermented at a low temperature. So, no pressing is done! The result is an intensely pure and expressive white wine.
