Description
Adega de Monção is located in the heart of the Vinho Verde region, in the renowned Monção e Melgaço sub-region. The winery here makes this exemplary Vinho Verde from 50% alvarinho and 50% trajadura grapes.

It does this in a modern way, but with the retention of characteristic features such as a very light tingle in the taste. Modern means that everything is done to preserve the fresh fruit tones of the grapes and to prevent contact with oxygen during vinification.

The result is a striking, crystal clear white wine with a delicious, mildly dry taste. It is perfect as a terrace or aperitif wine, but also delicious with, for example, shellfish or pasta with tomato. Vinho Verde as it is meant to be!

Drinking at
Ideal to drink as a terrace and aperitif wine or a stimulating aperitif. Also nice with shellfish, grilled tuna pieces or soft cheeses.

Tasting note
Pale yellow colour and light tingling. Subtle aroma of apple, pear, peach and white flowers. The taste is accessible, fruity and refreshing with sufficient depth. Elegant, nicely dry finish.

Shelf life
At its best until approximately 3 years after harvest date.
