Description
Adega de Monção is located in the heart of the Vinho Verde region, in the renowned Monção e Melgaço sub-region. The winery here makes this exemplary Vinho Verde from 50% alvarinho and 50% trajadura grapes.

It does this in a modern way, but while retaining characteristic features such as a very light tingle in the taste. Modern means that everything is done to preserve the fresh fruit notes of the grapes and to prevent contact with oxygen during vinification.

The result is a striking, crystal-clear white wine with a delicious, mildly dry flavor. It's perfect as a patio wine or aperitif, but also delicious with seafood or pasta with tomato. Vinho Verde as it was meant to be!

Drinking at
Ideal for enjoying on the patio, as an aperitif, or as a refreshing aperitif. Also delicious with shellfish, grilled tuna, or soft cheeses.

Tasting note
Pale yellow color with a slight tingle. Subtle aromas of apple, pear, peach, and white flowers. The palate is accessible, fruity, and refreshing with plenty of depth. An elegant, beautifully dry finish.

Shelf life
At its best up to approximately 3 years after harvest date.
