Pascal Agrapart in Avize
The Agrapart champagne comes from mainly grand cru vineyards in Avize, in the heart of the Côte de Blancs. Winemaker Pascal Agrapart makes various champagnes that are among the top in the area. Production is limited to approximately 80,000 bottles per year. Agrapart is one of the few producers to state the bottling date and disgorgement date on the back label. Dégorgement is the final bottling after fermentation and maturation in the bottle. Until about two years after this day, champagne tastes at its best.
