Description
What a beautiful new addition to Due Palme's luxury house wine series, Collezione Privata! The red Collezione Privata—a sultry, oak-aged Negroamaro—is already a favorite among many. This white is made from the Vermentino grape, a Sardinian specialty that also proves its worth in Puglia. The coastal vineyards ensure plenty of fresh acidity in the grapes.

Unlike the red, winemaker Francesco Maci (the nephew of founder Angelo) opts for a pure fruit expression without oak. He ferments the optimally ripe Vermentino grapes in stainless steel tanks, where the wine then matures for a while with the yeasts.

The result is a super-seductive, mild Vermentino, with notes of pear, peach, and melon, and a hint of brioche. It's perfect on its own or with snacks, but also offers enough depth to accompany a meal. A worthy addition to the popular red!

Drinking at
A seductive, smooth white wine perfect for enjoying on its own or as an aperitif. Perfect with baked salmon, vitello tonato, or soft, young cheeses.

Tasting note
A fragrant dry white wine with aromas of pear, peach, melon, and brioche. Full and juicy with ripe stone fruit and a refreshing freshness. The finish is elegant with a light almond note.
