Information

From grapes harvested in vineyards on Lake Garda
Smooth, juicy and fruity
Delicious as a drink and with light dishes

Description
Looking for a tasty, smooth and easy-to-drink Pinot Grigio? Then try this new one from Casa Giona. The winery is located just north of Verona, in the Valpolicella area. This area is famous for its red wines Valpolicella, Ripasso and Amarone, but Casa Giona also makes surprisingly delicious white wines from vineyards located on Lake Garda.

The grapes for Pinot Grigio are harvested at the end of August. Modern vinification takes place in the cellar, resulting in a pure, fruity style. After destemming and gentle pressing, the juice ferments in stainless steel tanks, where the wine rests for a few months before bottling.

It produces a refreshing and juicy white wine, with notes of white flowers, apple, pear and anise. It is perfect as a drink or aperitif, but also combines well with many light dishes, from stuffed pumpkin to cod with tomato from the oven.

Drink with
Fruity, smooth white wine to drink as an aperitif, with drinks or with light (fish) dishes. Delicious with a salad of broad beans, quiche, fish kebab or a casserole with cod.

Tasting note
Accessible, dry white wine with a scent of white flowers, apple, pear and anise. Beautifully juicy and smooth in taste with ripe fruit and mild acidity in the elegant aftertaste.

Shelf life
Now beautiful and can be kept for up to 3 years after harvest.
