Description
Erick de Sousa is one of the leading smaller producers of top quality champagne. His wines are described as particularly good in the international wine press. In contrast to the well-known brand champagnes, Sousa only has a small production. You will therefore only find his champagnes at a limited number of addresses. It is a real 'enthusiast champagne' for people who pay more attention to quality than to brand awareness! This Demi-Sec Tradition is made from Chardonnay (50%), Pinot Noir (40%) and Pinot Meunier grapes from the municipality of Avize. On the back of the bottle, De Sousa states the “date de disgorgement”. This is the day on which the wine was finally bottled. Important to know because this way you can keep an eye on the freshness of the wine! fresh for up to 3 years afterwards.
