Description

In addition to their regular wines, the South African top domain DeMorgenzon in Stellenbosch also makes the exclusive and limited Concerto series for us every year.

The grapes come from small selections of grapes harvested in some of the estate's finest vineyards, which just fell short of the luxurious white Maestro. The blend consists largely of viognier, supplemented with chardonnay, grenache blanc, chenin blanc, roussanne and marsanne.



After fermentation, the wine matures in small casks. It produces an impressive white wine, which seamlessly unites the aromatic profile of the viognier with the structure of the chardonnay and the freshness of the chenin blanc.

The Concerto has a seductive scent of blossom and ripe white fruit, beautifully dosed oak and a wonderful freshness in the long aftertaste. Don't miss it, because as the name suggests, this wine is only available in limited quantities.

Drink at

Gourmet, creamy white wine to combine with firm white fish, pasta with mushrooms or chicken from the oven.

Tasting note

Refined, dry white wine with aromas of melon, peach, apricot, brioche and nuts. Tempting, full and intense flavor with ripe yellow fruit and balanced acidity. The finale is lingering with toast and butter.

Now beautiful and can be kept for up to about 5 years after harvest.
