Description

In addition to their regular wines, the top South African estate DeMorgenzon in Stellenbosch also produces the exclusive and limited Concerto series for us annually.

The grapes come from small selections harvested in a number of the estate's finest vineyards, which just missed out on the luxury white Maestro. The blend consists largely of Viognier, supplemented with Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Roussanne, and Marsanne.



After fermentation, the wine ages in small barrels. This results in an impressive white wine that seamlessly combines the aromatic profile of the Viognier with the structure of the Chardonnay and the freshness of the Chenin Blanc.

The Concerto has a seductive aroma of blossom and ripe white fruit, beautifully balanced oak, and a wonderful freshness in the long finish. Don't miss it, because, as the name already reveals, this wine is only available in limited quantities.

Gastronomic, creamy white wine to pair with firm white fish, mushroom pasta, or oven-roasted chicken.

Tasting note

Refined, dry white wine with aromas of melon, peach, apricot, brioche, and nuts. Seductive, full-bodied, and intense in flavor with ripe yellow fruit and balanced acidity. The finish is persistent with toast and butter.

Shelf life

Now beautiful and keeps for approximately 5 years after harvest.
