A fragrant dry white wine with notes of ripe apple and floral notes; full-bodied, round, fresh, and spicy, with a pleasant finish.
Description
For over four centuries, the Berthenet family has cultivated vineyards in the Côte Chalonnaise. The current generation, headed by Jean-Pierre Berthenet, has made a clear commitment to sustainable viticulture. The result: a beautiful and complex white Burgundy. The Tête de Cuvée comes from various select plots of Chardonnay, from which only the first and best juice is used for this wine.
The slow pressing in pneumatic presses further enhances the quality of the grape juice and, ultimately, the wine. This fine Montagny regularly wins prizes at wine competitions and receives honorable mentions in renowned wine guides.
