Description
Winemakers such as Rémi Branger and Gwénaëlle Croix convincingly demonstrate the potential of Muscadet. According to the written press, their Domaine de la Pépière is one of the best in the region. Here, everything revolves around refinement, freshness, length of taste and terroir expression, based on the philosophy of a biodynamic method with minimal intervention. And you can taste that in their wines.
The special cuvée Briords comes from the eponymous, only three hectares of slope vineyard with granite subsoil located on the banks of the river Maine. The vines, which are over 60 years old, have deep roots, which have access to sufficient water. This allows the grapes to ripen evenly. The low yield of the old vines gives the Briords a remarkable concentration, while the alcohol percentage is very modest.
After manual harvesting, the wine ferments for a month in an underground tank and then matures for another eight months 'sur lie'. The Briords is in a class of its own, with wonderful tension, freshness and refinement and a clear characterization of the terroir. Keep this great white in stock in your fridge and your cellar. And when you open it, serve it with a nice platter of fruits de mer.

Beautifully typified muscadet with filling, freshness and salty nuances. Beautiful with oysters, mussels with garlic and thyme, all kinds of fish dishes or goat cheese.

Subtle, dry white wine with aromas of ripe apple, pear, peach, smoke and almond. The taste is intense and layered with ripe fruit and good freshness. Persistent finish with brioche and salty notes.
