Domaine Lalande Pays d'Oc Terrasse de Lalande Rosé 2025

Juicy, dry rosé made from Merlot and Syrah grapes by Pierre de Groote in the Languedoc. Pierre, originally from Belgium, has built a magnificent estate and is known for the strong price-quality ratio of his wines. The somewhat unusual Merlot-Syrah combination works well here. The short skin contact with the fermenting grape juice ensures the characteristic Provençal color and the preservation of fruit aromas. The ripeness of the harvested grapes provides the juicy, mildly dry taste. An ideal terrace wine that tastes best straight from the fridge.

This wine tastes best in the first year of production. After this, most rosé wines quickly lose their youthful fruitiness, but this also applies to many white wines. Ideally, store the bottles in a cool place and avoid (prolonged) high temperatures of 22 degrees Celsius and above, which cause wine in general to develop rapidly.

Drinks with
Delicious Provence-style rosé to drink as an aperitif, on the terrace, or with drinks. Also lovely with light dishes, such as summer salads with grilled fish or chicken.

Tasting note
Light salmon-pink wine with an open aroma of strawberry, peach, pear, and anise. Accessible and deliciously juicy with ripe red fruit and a pleasant freshness on the palate. The finish is mild and smooth.

Shelf life
Ready to drink immediately and keep for approximately 2 years after the harvest date.
