Description
At our request, Arjolle created a new, contemporary version of the once-successful Cuvée de l'Arjolle. This red wine was the estate's flagship wine in the 1990s, but was discontinued in 2005 due to the rise of the popular "mono- and bi-cépages," wines made from one or two grape varieties.
The Cuvée Arjolle label never specified the grapes used in the wine, and this information varied depending on the vintage and the ripeness of the grapes. Skillful blending, constantly finding the right balance of grapes, has a significant impact on the wine's flavor and quality.
François Teisserenc learned this practical skill from father to son and now, with Équilibre Limited Release, makes a beautiful, full-bodied wine from the most expressive and ripe Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (33%), and 22% Syrah. About half of the wine is aged for six months in small oak barrels and blended with the tank portion.
The result is very convincing with a luxurious aroma and taste of wood-matured Cabernet, full, mild Merlot and spicy, 'warm', Mediterranean Syrah.

Deep red in color and spicy in aroma with mild oak and jammy red fruit. The full flavor begins softly and aromatically, finishing with a mild, refreshing finish.
Shelf life
Drinkable from 2 years after harvest and can easily be kept for up to 5 years.
