Description

The white Le Bois du Cerf, made from 100% Vermentinu (also known as Vermentino and Rolle), stands out positively in the growing selection of wines made from this Mediterranean grape. Depending on the terroir and the winemaker's method, there are significant stylistic differences.

Producer and Corsican ambassador Manu Venturi creates a delicate, dry variety with tension and juiciness. His love for Corsican nature and biodiversity is almost naturally reflected in organic certification and even biodynamic farming.



Manu hand-harvests his top-quality grapes from high-altitude vineyards with low yields. Once in the cellar, he ferments them in concrete vats without adding yeast cultures. The resulting wine is then aged on its lees for another six months before being bottled unfined and only lightly filtered.

This minimalist approach produces a stunning, pure white wine with maximum fruit and terroir expression. Delicious as an aperitif or with fresh, baked fish.
