Description
Looking for another unique wine discovery? Then try this beautiful Zibibbo from the charming family winery Caruso e Minini in Marsala. Zibibbo is the Sicilian name for the aromatic Muscat d'Alexandrie, a true Sicilian specialty. And Stefano Caruso and his daughters Giovanna and Rosanna are truly exceptional at it!
Their vineyards are located inland in the province of Trapani. The white grapes are planted at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level to ensure aromatic quality and freshness.
Once harvested, the grapes undergo cold maceration in the cellar, after which they are gently pressed. Fermentation and aging take place at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks.
It produces a unique, wonderfully fragrant white wine with notes of blossom, stone fruit, and a hint of spice. The flavor is mild and juicy. Bibbo makes a delicious, original aperitif and is also versatile in its culinary uses. Think, for example, of fish carpaccio or sashimi, vegetarian dishes, and even mildly spicy Asian dishes.
