Description
Looking to make another special wine discovery? Then try this beautiful Zibibbo from the charming family winery Caruso e Minini in Marsala. Zibibbo is the Sicilian name for the aromatic Muscat d'Alexandrie and a true Sicilian specialty. And it just so happens that Stefano Caruso and his daughters Giovanna and Rosanna excel at it!
Their vineyards are located in the interior of the province of Trapani. The white grapes are planted at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level to ensure aromatic quality and freshness.
Once harvested, cold skin maceration follows in the cellar, after which the grapes are gently pressed. Fermentation and aging take place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.
It produces a special, deliciously fragrant white wine with notes of blossom, stone fruit, and a hint of spiciness. The taste is mild and juicy. The Bibbo is a delicious, original aperitif and is also gastronomically versatile. Think, for example, of fish carpaccio or sashimi, vegetarian dishes, and even mildly spicy Asian dishes.
