Description
A non-alcoholic toast? Then try this surprising Naturtalente Rosé from the Mosel, winner of the Falstaff Alkoholfrei Trophy. Not a non-alcoholic wine, but—following the Scandinavian example—a sparkling tea!
Producer C. Kloss uses cloudy pear juice from orchards in the Mosel region as a base and enriches it with various regional ingredients: blackcurrant leaf, green oat herb tea, peppermint tea, home-brewed kombucha, and lavender blossom tea essential oil. The Naturtalente owes its beautiful pink color to the addition of rosehip and hibiscus.
After the infusion, which creates an exciting, layered aroma and flavor, carbon dioxide is added, giving it a mild, refreshing fizz. The artisanally produced Naturtalente Rosé therefore has a floral, spicy, and fruity aroma, a harmonious, fresh, and complex flavor, and a refined spiciness in the finish.
It's perfect as an aperitif or for toasting, but thanks to its spiciness and mild tannins, it also pairs well with lighter dishes. A deserved winner!
