Description

Juan Antonio Fernández makes one of the most attractive wines from the small Toro de wine region near Salamanca in western Spain with daughter Béatriz. With only about fifty producers, Toro has become known over the past decade for its powerful but often tannic wines.

The Liberalia Cero is of a different caliber and has a lot of roundness in addition to strength. The secret behind this intense red wine that can be drunk at a young age? Not only the maturation but also the fermentation takes place in small new oak barrels of American origin. This new way of winemaking vinification intégrale produces a great mix of fruit roundness, aromatic intensity and seductive oak notes. It is the most successful wine from this small bodega. Highly recommended.
